Linux & Shell scripting
The objective of this course is to introduce you to Linux and Shell scripting. This will help you to perform common tasks in Linux environment without need to write lengthy codes. During the course we will cover various aspects of Linux, starting from understanding Linux terminal, file systems, permissions, navigating across different directory structures, basic file operations such as copy and delete. We will further explore very useful commands such as sort, unique, cut that will help you explore file contents in detail. We will also explore regular expression using grep, find, sed and awk. Last, the course includes writing shell scripts. We will end with doing few case studies using all learned skills.
